Thursday 30th June 2005.
PENDEEN; A single Cory's Shearwater was reported past between 13.50 and 15.20, also noted was a single Sooty Shearwater, 20+ Storm Petrel and 200 Manx Shearwater. PORTHGWARRA; Eleven Cory's Shearwater was noted past this morning, 07.15 to 11.45, two Sooty Shearwater was also reported as was 280 Manx Shearwater and 20 Storm Petrels. WADEBRIDGE; An adult Mediterranean Gull was reported in the school playing fields at Gonvena Hill. NEAR ZENNOR; Eleven Quail were noted singing along track between Bosporthennis and Bodrifty.
Wednesday 29th June 2005.
ST LEVAN; One Quail was singing near the Church. SENNEN COVE; A second summer Yellow-legged Gull was on the beach. Tuesday 28th June 2005.
LOE POOL, HELSTON; A female Red-crested Pochard, from the hide (SW647254). CROWDY RESERVOIR; 157 Canada Goose, one Bar-headed Goose, four Great Crested Grebe, two Lapwing, two Curlew, five Mallard, three Heron and two Cormorant. DAVIDSTOW AIRFIELD; Eight Mistle Thrush were present early morning. CAMEL ESTUARY; Four Mediterranean Gulls, (two adult and two first summer), 32 Little Egret, three Redshank, 159 Curlew, three Whimbrel, 58 Oystercatcher, 685 Black-headed Gull, 25 Kittiwake.
